As an admin you can now export the responses to the individual questions and answers within a check-in collection.
We have added a word document export option for all your job descriptions.
We are excited to announce that full customization of check-in questions is now available! Start utilizing self check-ins for updates on Goals, Performance, Core Values Alignment and more!
We have enhanced our employee data uploader and we have updated our “who can view this” information within a check-in.
Send Later / Launch Check-Ins
Previously, once a check in was created, it was immediately sent off to the reviewers to be completed. Now an admin user can delay sending the check-in they create at a later time.
Style your feedback requests
The feedback request now supports pasting in formatted content and allows you to style in bold, underlined, italicized or lists. There is also an expand option in the top right to allow for full screen editing.
Feedback PDF now includes Request Instructions
When exporting a feedback PDF, any feedback request instructions associated with that piece of feedback will appear as well.
Feedback List and Feedback Request CSV exports
CSV exports for the feedback lists and feedback request list also now contain an “unformatted instructions” column which will remove formatting tags from the instructions column.
JD Page View Duplicate bullets removed
In some cases, the job description page view had duplicate bullets for the criteria sections. The duplicate bullets have been removed. Bullets will only appear now if they were entered when creating the job description.
JD List View sort by added
The job description list view now allows you to sort and filter by completion (incomplete or done).. This is especially helpful when adding new job descriptions.

The “Who Isn’t Included” button has now been replaced with a more powerful list called “Available / Unassigned”. When looking to add more reviewers to a check-in collection, simply click on the red bar at the bottom of the screen.
We are constantly adding and updating Threads to meet our clients needs. This latest release has the following notable updates.
Optional: Managers can edit job descriptions
We have made it possible now for admins to choose if they would like anyone that is a manager to have the ability to edit job descriptions, including results criteria. Many large clients appreciate this feature as it allows the admins to get assistance from managers on ensuring results criteria is accurate for their specific employees.

Optional: All employees can view all job descriptions
We made a recent update that hid results criteria in job descriptions from employees due to many clients having specific individual criteria that needed to remain private. Since then, we heard from some customers that they relied on this visibility to all to assist in career planning and in providing more accurate feedback to others. In order to accommodate these two very different use cases, we have added an option in company settings that allows admins to choose whether they want employees to view all job descriptions including results.

Give Feedback Modal Clarity
Before it was hard to identify if an employee from the give feedback picker was an active, former or inactive employee. We now have labels next to the names of inactive and former employees.
We also have found the need to give feedback for inactive or former employees diminishes greatly after 90 days. So, after 90 days, those inactive and former employees will no longer appear in the give feedback picker. Instead, admins and managers of those employees will be able to continue to give feedback after 90 days by instead going to that inactive / former employee’s profile. The feedback CSV export had some html formatting brought into the feedback data. As a fix for those who do not want that, we have added an additional Feedback CSV export column option to display non stylized text.
Several clients noted the need to be able to export the acceptance comments that their team was entering into reviews en masse. We have added an additional Review CSV export column option to display those comments.

Introducing Feedback Tags! Authors of feedback can now choose to add tags - or categories - to feedback that they leave within Threads.
Capture How Employees Feel They Are Performing
What is a self check-in?
A self check-in is an opportunity for an employee to communicate with their manager about their performance throughout the year. The self check-in is designed to take about 5 minutes.
The org chart in Threads has been a very powerful tool that our clients have relied on much more than we ever anticipated. After much development power we have finally been able to add the ability to print / save the org chart as a PDF.
Do you need your team to give more feedback? Do you want employees to complete specific feedback tasks? You can now send feedback requests to employees.
This is a big step in our process toward making Threads a great mobile experience! Giving feedback on your mobile device just got a whole lot better.

Communicate to Your Team...
A PDF for you to share
We understand the importance of educating your teams on software updates. We feel this update is an important one to communicate to employee and manager level users within your organization.
The Threads Product team is happy to announce two new updates!
First, we have added a new view for admins, managers and employees. This new view gives admins the ability to see all of their user’s personnel documents in one list view!
The Threads team has replaced the “Signature” section of the review PDF with a more detailed and accurate section called “History”. Just as it did previously, it will still list when the review was accepted and by who.
Throughout the history of Threads, Admins have had the ability to view all feedback entered into the account. This includes feedback left for them. While at first this may seem like a privilege, the reality is that it has limited and in some cases eliminated, feedback being given to Admins.
We have heard requests to be able to share feedback from admins, manager and employees alike. We are excited to announce the new ability to choose to make feedback visible to any recipient!
All Threads users now have a personal email notification page listed under “My Account”. (Shown below: Admin View of My Account / Email Notifications)
